2bed/2bath apartment near Piazza Navona, Rome

When

13th April 2009, 3 nights

Location

Excellent location within five minute walk to Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori. We walked to all the sights no problem. Big plus was to be able to return at lunchtime for siesta before going to see more sights.

Nearby Amenities

Lovely local cafe 20 metres away, grocery store within 100 metres. Lots of lovely restaurants in Navona area all within a five minute walk, great atmosphere and life in the nearby streets.

The House/Apartment

Very historical building, apartment in lovely condition on first floor. Very clean.

Small kitchen which we did not use very much with so many lovely restaurants so close. Beds very comfortable. Very quiet at night, only disturbance in the morning with early risers leaving the building. Security grill and front door noisy but it didn't really bother us.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Very spacious and comfortable.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Beds very comfortable. Second bedroom has two singles and a double in a loft area over the singles so it might not suit everyone but we were a family and we slept seven with a sofa bed in the living area and nobody was complaining. En suite bathroom a little on the small size, main bathroom good and spacious.

Kitchen

Small kitchen but big enough to cook a full meal if one wished to do so. Wine glasses were not provided maybe an oversight?

Problems or Bonuses

Owner Bernardino is a lovely man, he stayed late to meet us and was very helpful with recommendations to help us settle in.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Bed and Breakfast Assoc of Rome - Marie Andersson- were very professional and courteous. Speedy replies to queries and clear explanations of terms and conditions. Highly recommended.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

No hesitation in recommending this apartment very highly.
