Location

The farm is just outside Viterbo on the via Ciminio. It takes about seven minutes to get there from Porta Romana.

Nearby Amenities

A short drive gets you to a small residential district outside the walls of Viterbo and also to Porta Romana. There is plenty of parking outside the walls. You are close to San Pelligrino, the old quarter of Viterbo.

The House/Apartment

Historical building nicely refurbished. There were approximately four apartments. Ours had two large rooms with a nice table and a decently equipped kitchen which we did not use.

Garden

Very nice grounds with very large and friendly dogs. Shared grounds. Pool available but not in use at time of our visit.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Nice serviceable furniture.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Bed standard Italy fare... very nice bathroom with plenty of hot water.

Kitchen

Did not use but it appeared to be well equipped.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

We booked thru Venere and paid Giandomenico during our stay, painless. Very good breakfast of local honey and nut spread with cookies, cake & bread served by Giandomenico in the Taverna. Cafe latte as well.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Absolutely lovely spot and a great location to explore Etruscan sites as well as the historic town of Viterbo.

Things to do in this area

We visited Bomarzo and Nicki St Phalle's Giardini dei Tarrochi, both within an hour. Superb base for visiting Tarquinia, Cerveteri, Norcia and other Etruscan sites.
