apartments on an estate near Montalcino, Tuscany South 
WhenApril 2009, one week ReviewA great place with friendly people and a good price (about €600 a week). The website is accurate. It was obvious that the kitchen had been redone and things added to the agriturismo like a weight room. The location is outstanding with many quaint little towns within a half hour drive and only three minutes to Montalcino. The apartment is bright and cheerful and the kitchen has everything you need to cook full meals. The bathroom is large and equipped with heated towel racks, hairdryers and soaps and shampoos. The bedroom was large and comfortable with a dresser and armoire and night stands so there was plenty of space to unpack and not trip over your luggage. Besides the pool and hot tub the area around the apartments is gorgeous with a couple of patios and views of the vineyard. The new wine cellar and tasting room is a great tour. The restaurant about 100 meters from the apartment is very good. I highly recommend this apartment. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
