It's been about a few years since I stayed at Gargonza but I liked it very much. My friends and I shared the two bedroom "guard's house" which has a fireplace and kitchen, just outside the wall. There is a conference center and breakfast service in the main building which I believe used to be the mill. There is also a pretty good restaurant off of the principal drive. A car is an absolute necessity. I used Rent-a-Home International to book at Gargonza, but it is possible to contact Gargonza directly. I believe the owner's name is Count Guicciardini.
