WhenJune 2009, Four nights LocationWell situated in the heart of Trastevere, short walk to the beautiful church and to the many restaurants. Walk straight down the street to the tram stop, travel to P. Argentina and you are in the heart of Roma. Couldn't be easier! Nearby AmenitiesCoffee, groceries and restaurants within walking distance, including supermarket. The House/ApartmentOne apartment in a larger group. One floor up, and there is a good lift for bags so no problem. GardenShared internal courtyard. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasVery comfortable furniture, TV and stereo. All very clean - there is a cleaning fee included when you pay the owner. Some of the rubbish collection rules are potentially confusing but this is not the fault of the Jewel - rather Italian municipal bureaucracy! Bedrooms/BathroomsOne very large master bedroom , one smaller bedroom (ideal for child), one pull out sofa bed in living room (we did not need this). KitchenFully equipped kitchen. Cooked two meals - but who wants to eat in when you can enjoy so many wonderful restaurants! Problems or BonusesIt was our second visit to Jewel, and if we were lucky enough to go back to Rome for a third time, we would go straight back again - it has everything we would ever need. Agency and Representatives (and price)Excellent, prompt and personal service from the owner who will meet you at the apartment. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?As above ... would love the chance to stay there for the third time! Things to do in this areaAtmosphere of Trastevere ... by the way, we ate at Alle Fratta (just down the street) three times - you could wander around for hours and not find better food, value or atmosphere!
