Vacation rentals in Italy (villas, farms, estates, agriturismo, apartments)
Review 4271: Owner, Casa Giuilia Roma
1bed/1bath apartment near St. Peters, Rome
July 28, 2008, 6 days
Casa Giulia is located in Rome not far away from the Vatican. There is the convenience of many public transportation buses that connect the center of the city with the apartment and even a train station from where you can reach the main terminal in Rome.
Very near by one can find a couple of restaurants and and coffee shop, nevertheless that fact that the public transportation is so effective makes it easier to go out in the city and look for other possibilities. The biggest advantage for us was the near by super market; it is five minutes away, walking from the apartment, Giulia will direct you to it with out hesitation.
The building where the apartment is located is in very good shape; the apartment if self is very clean and tidy. It's really comfortable after a day of sight seeing in the eternal city. Naturally there are other apartments in the building but you don't hear from them, which really makes it peaceful being there, with perhaps just the hustle and bustle of a city like Rome.
No pools or sitting areas.
Furniture in very good shape, bed is really comfortable.
The bedroom was great; it has a very spaced out closet area, where you can store all you clothes and belongings.
A small but well equipped kitchen, more than enough to prepare a nice meal after tiring day of walking up and down in Rome.
Problems or Bonuses
A very good one, we got a nice bottle of wine from our host. Boy we sure did enjoy it after a long hard day in one of the most exiting cities of the world.
Agency and Representatives (and price)
The price paid for the apartment rental I think was very fair, in comparison to other places in Italy or Europe. Our hostess speaks very good English and is very good giving you directions to almost any place in Rome.
Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?
Thanks to Giulias' hospitality and help we were able enjoyed the eternal city in a great way. So I would surely recommended to any one visiting Rome.
Things to do in this area
Rome is a very touristic city, therefore restaurants and shops are somewhat expensive, my recommendation is to concentrate on all these wonderful monuments, churches, squares, gardens and fountains the city has to offer. Not to mention the museums.
