Location

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Porto San Donato. The apartment is well decorated and furnishings are comfortable. The town is interesting and is close to many must see sites in Italy. Our hosts have provided information and maps for the area sites and are very gracious. It was a lovely stay in an ancient city wall with all the comforts.

Nearby Amenities

Yes, grocery stores and restaurants were within a block or so.

The House/Apartment

This is an apartment in an ancient city wall. It requires climbing two long staircases, so is not the best for anyone who could not handle that. The furnishings were very nice and well decorated. There was some noise from the street, if the windows were open.

Garden

No garden.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The furnishings were very comfortable and the unit was well decorated. Everything was provided that was needed.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The bedding appeared to be quite new and was most comfortable. The bathrooms were furnished with everything needed.

Kitchen

Yes, everything was fine in the kitchen for preparing whatever we wanted.

Problems or Bonuses

Renters need to have at least some Italian for check-in and for issues that might arise.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Yes, I would recommend this apartment for anyone who is able to handle the long staircases and who enjoy stay in a small town and making day trips out to the sights.
