apartments on an estate near Montepulciano, Tuscany South WhenNovember 2002, 5 Days ReviewEverything was as perfect as we hoped during our stay at Le Manzinaie. Marzia, Fiore and Alicia were like old friends after only a few days. Our trip to Italy was truly highlighted by our stay in Tuscany. Marzia was so helpful from the suggestion to travel by train from Rome to Chiusi and rent a car there, to our directions for all of our day trips. Le Manzinaie is centrally located and we really enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the towns of Montepulciano and Montalcino. (And the Vino) Le Manzinaie was outstanding, the work that has been done by the Grassi family is a piece of art. The brick ceilings, archways and Marzia's paintings are exquisite. Everything was so clean and organized, we really felt at home! Oh, and don't let me forget the wonderful dinner that was prepared for us on Saturday evening, authentic Italian cooking by the famous "Chef Fiore" on the open fire. It was 2:00AM before we knew it, it was so much fun!!! We also have to give Alicia an extra "Thank You" for her excellent interpretation skills, she added much comfort to our conversations. I would recommend Le Manzinaie to anyone, you won't be disappointed. We were so sad when we had to leave and go down the long drive for the last time. We hope that we are fortunate enough to visit with the Grassis again in the future and wish them success with their beautiful property. Thank you to In Tuscany for making our Italian visit one of our most memorable experiences. Their advice directing us to Le Manzinaie made our Tuscany vacation our most pleasurable.
