The rental was Casa Rosina in Altopascio, a short drive from Lucca. The rental was very nice. On the ground floor was a kitchen with eating area, a dining room, a living room area, a half-bath and washer dryer. On the first floor there were two bedrooms and two baths and on the second floor there was another bedroom and bath. The owners lived directly across from the rental and were an excellent source of touring information. Also, the gentleman is a retired chef, and he prepared dinner for us two evenings. I would definitely stay at Casa Rosina again; however, I would probably contact the owners directly rather than working through a rental agency.
