2bed/2bath apartment near Spanish Steps, Rome WhenMarch 2010, 6 nights LocationExcellent location. Three minutes to Piazza de Spagna. Five minutes to Trevi. Seven minutes to Pantheon. Ten minutes to Piazza Navona. Nearby AmenitiesCoffee, groceries, restaurants right outside the door or around the block. The House/ApartmentThe apartment is over a live theater! Every night until 11pm, the apartment is literally vibrating from the music below. There is no chance that you will be able to sleep until 11pm. This is very frustrating after a long day of walking all over Rome. Exhaustion and earplugs will not alleviate the noise. KitchenThe prior occupants had left cookies in a jar. As a result, the kitchen was covered in ants. We threw the cookies away and sprayed for ants which quickly resolved the issue. Agency and Representatives (and price)They were supposed to meet us there at 11am. We even used their driving service, which was excellent. Due to an 'emergency' at another location, my family and I waited on the street with all of our luggage for 1.5 hours. Luckily, there was a kind person who let my family warm themselves and use the restroom while I watched the luggage and repeatedly called the agency. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?Be forewarned about this apartment, you will not sleep until 11pm. This may be fine for you if you are a night owl.
