Location

The apartment is located on Via della Vigna Vecchia in the center of Florence, just around the corner from the Vivoli gelato shop. It is in a historic building with several other apartments also managed by Windows on Italy.

Nearby Amenities

Everything is close by. There is a Standa supermarket about less than a 10 minute walk away.

The House/Apartment

This is the fourth time I've stayed in the Verdi and a couple of things have changed. First, the apartment was not as clean as in previous stays. It appeared dusty as if it hadn't been rented for a while and not cleaned since the last rental. Second, a business has moved in across the street that made a fair amount of noise at night. It looked like band equipment being moved around very late into the night.

Garden

There's a shared sitting area with table outside. There are two other apartments on the same floor that share this area.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

All the furniture was in good shape but as mentioned it was a bit dusty.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The bed is reasonable and in a loft area with its own bathroom with tub and shower mount. There's a sofa bed (in addition to two other sofas) on the main floor and a second bath with shower there.

Kitchen

The kitchen is small but usable and also contains the washing machine. There is a door to it that can be closed to reduce the noise from the washing machine.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

I've rented this and other apartments from Windows on Italy. They are a good agency to deal with.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I would likely choose another apartment in this building before staying in the Verdi again with the only reason being the noise from across the street at night. If that were to change I would definitely stay again.
