2bed/2bath apartment in Praiano, Campania

Location

This nice apartment was in the heart of the Vettica Maggiore area of Praiano -- the primary part of town.

Nearby Amenities

This was the best part -- we had at least five good places to eat within a five minute walk. Also, an ATM and the village TI office were both very handy. There were two small grocery stores nearby as well.

The House/Apartment

See the web site -- excellent photos. It was very comfortable and clean and all of the appliances worked well. The only negative was the walk up; it is on the 3rd floor -- about 65 steps up from ground level. The primary positive was the view from the third floor terrace -- fantastic vista looking out to Positano and even Capri in the distance.

Garden

A large terrace with a table and chairs and great views of the Amalfi Coast.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Very functional kitchen -- both baths were modern and clean. Also had a small washer and racks on the deck for drying.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Good beds -- we only used the one bedroom.

Kitchen

Good kitchen and adequate dishes. Also had left over condiments that were useful.

Problems or Bonuses

As advertised -- no surprises.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

The lovely owners could not have been nicer. They met us and carried our luggage up the stairs for us -- and again when we left. The teen-aged daughter spoke good English and gave us a good orientation.

The agency is always good and easy to deal with. The price was a bargain.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Yes ! Good location to explore the Amalfi Coast. The SITA bus stop was 200 yards away.
