Vacation rentals in Italy (villas, farms, estates, agriturismo, apartments)
Review 4737: Italy-Accom, Fortuna Terrace
2bed/1bath apartment near Spanish Steps, Rome
8/610-8/11/10, 4 nights
Nice location in the city. Quiet. Near Spanish steps.
There was not a grocery store within walking distance.
The apartment itself was very nice, but there were several problems.
You can view the property directly: Fortuna Terrace.
Nice terrace on the roof.
Comfortable, in good shape.
Only one bathroom. Comfortable beds.
Problems or Bonuses
The major problem was that there was no Internet despite what the website said. This was one of my criteria for choosing this apartment. In addition, there was a problem with the bedding and no one was sent to fix this despite their promise to do so. The exterior lighting was broken and the more than 20 steps to the entry were in complete darkness and unsafe. Again, we were promised this would be fixed and no one came. Only one set of keys and the three gates require unlocking on both sides. If you forget your keys, you can be locked in between the gates and the front entry.
Agency and Representatives (and price)
I've e mailed the agency with our complaints and no one has responded. The on site person was the one who promised these issues would be fixed.
