apartment, sleeps 4, Venice WhenMarch, 2002, One week LocationCa'Barnaba, located a few steps from Campo San Barnaba, Venice affords its visitors an ideal stepping off place to the wonders of Venice. The apartment situated on the ground floor (no steps to climb and well secured) is furnished beautifully by its architect owner. There are touches of old world charms blended with modern conveniences. The apartment is four minutes walk from the Vaparetto waterbus, virtually next door to Ca'Rizzonico, a very short walk to shops, restaurants, espresso, bakeries and an ATM. Cross two closeby bridges and you pass famous mask maker shops and the equally famous water barge featuring the freshest of vegetables and fruits. The Accademia is within easy walking distance. And then there is the supreme delight, five minutes to Venice's best and most reasonably priced 'gelato' open every evening until 10:30. We never walked past without trying a new flavor. Get up early to experience the wonderful right there moments from Ca'Barnaba. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others? We recommend it.
