Review 4830: Owner, San Angelo (#57231)
2bed/1bath apartment in San Marco, Venice
I've stayed in that apartment in Campo San Angelo. It's a lovely apartment, and is good value. Kitchen is pretty basic, although it all works, but it would be a challenge to cook anything more than a basic meal. The equipment was rudimentary and there's not a lot of bench space so you use the table for preparation etc. The bathroom is fine - a shower over the bath. As well as the washing machine there was a tumble dryer (a very nice surprise) when I stayed there in 2008.
The sitting room is lovely with beautiful windows over the Campo S. Angelo- and it's not at all noisy.
The owner (who I didn't meet as she was out of town) arranged for someone to meet me at the San Angelo vaporetto stop. I can't remember if she asked for a deposit (don't think so), and the rental was paid in cash on arrival. It all worked well - apart from the Internet connection, which took a day or two to sort out.
I'd recommend it.
