Review 4879: Dolce Roma, Campo de' Fiori

Review by GRJ from Kuwait

2bed/2bath apartment near Campo dei Fiori, Rome

August 2010, 2 weeks

The location is sensational - two minute walk to buses and only slightly longer to innumerable attractions.

Nearby Amenities

There is a well stocked grocery about 50m away, and countless coffee shops, restaurants and neighbourhood bars in the surrounding streets.

The House/Apartment

The building is an historic one, but sympathetically modernised. The block is small and the neighbours friendly, despite some occasional exuberance from our children.

Sadly no - a tiny balcony gives a sense of space however.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Everything was in good order and some initial teething problems quickly resolved. The apartment comfortably accommodated four people.

All was good - the kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and the beds comfortable.

Fabulous stuff - we honestly thought we were in the owners personal property.

Problems or Bonuses

We had not spent much time in Rome previously, and did not fully grasp just how fabulously located the apartment was until we got there.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

We booked via the owners website and got immediate replies to our initial inquiry and subsequent questions. Additional services (airport pickup and do on) were also offered. Everything was as promised and presented.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Unquestionably. We have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Things to do in this area

Literally, far too much to mention. Ristorante Pancrazio (just off Campo dei Fiori) a treat owing to the basement (look it up!!).
