2bed/2bath apartment near Colosseum, Rome

Location

Near Colosseum, nice street.

Nearby Amenities

Had our morning coffee in the apartment (Some coffee and breakfast snacks were provided to get us started.) Several great restaurants very close by. Good size grocery store also near by.

The House/Apartment

Apartment in great shape, nicely decorated and maintained. Small combined living/dining/kitchen area, but the space is utilized well. Nice and light. Air conditioning was much appreciated a couple of days. There were other apartments in the building but we rarely saw or heard anyone else. Occasionally some noise from the sandwich place below, but nothing to complain about. Includes washer.

Garden

Tiny balcony. Nice view of street from front window.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Comfortable and clean.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

One nice sized bedroom, the other fairly tight, but plenty of room for two couples. Big main bathroom, very narrow second bathroom.

Kitchen

The kitchen had everything we needed.

Problems or Bonuses

The owners were so helpful and knowledgeable and had things set up so well, we had the slow travel experience of an apartment plus the benefits you would normally have to stay in a hotel for.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Very easy and nice to work with, prompt responses to emails. Super people. On our arrival Walter gave us a fantastic overview of sights, restaurants, transportation and so forth.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Yes, absolutely. Here or any of their properties.

Things to do in this area

It's Rome - so much to see. There were many restaurants within a block or two. All that we tried were great.
