1bed/1bath apartment in Trastevere, Rome 
WhenMay 2011, Week ReviewThe apartment is as the website describes it. Small but functional for two people. You are only about a block and a half from Viale di Trastevere so you will hear the sirens at night but it puts you close to transportation, tram and bus stops within two blocks and a taxi rank two blocks away. About two doors from Piazza del Drago where there are several restaurants and about two dozen restaurants within a five minute walk. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom small but functional. The kitchen appeared to have what you needed but we didn’t cook. Most of the drawers and cupboards in the living room and bedroom were wired shut so this was probably not good for a long stay. I was just looking for a place before flying out of Rome and this fit the bill (I am not going to stay at an airport hotel). It was in my favorite area, Trestevere, and rented for less than a week and was €110 a night. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
