Our extended family of four (three generations) had a wonderful stay in apartment 5 for three nights. As indicated in previous reviews, the location is excellent (quiet, away from the crowds, but close to all major sites with lovely views) and the owner, Contessa da Schio, was professional and helpful throughout, both by email before our stay and while we were in Venice.

Apartment 5 overlooks the garden which we used each evening - it was nice to have a walled garden to enjoy amidst the city. While the setup of the bedroom in the cove would not be for everyone (the two-bedroom apartment was not available), the one bedroom and the separate beds in the cove worked fine for us.

There is an excellent gelato place and grocery store not far and a new vaporetto stop close by.

We definitely would stay here again and plan to the next time we visit Venice.
