1bed/1bath apartment in Cannaregio, Venice When12 May - 16 May 2011, 4 nights ReviewWe got this vacation rental through Perfect Places and the owner Eva contacted us directly after our initial inquiry. We stayed there from 12 May - 16 May 2011. The communication via email was excellent. Her assistant met us at the vaporetto San Marcuola stop and took us to the apartment which is situated in the Cannaregio region about an eight-minute walk from the stop. We did have to get our luggage over four small bridges but this was OK. The apartment is located just off a small canal and we were very happy with it. It was tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortable. There was one bedroom with a large double bed, a modern bathroom with a small shower, toilet and bidet, an additional separate toilet, a washing machine, a modern kitchen with a small table, and a small separate living area with a sofa bed and bookcase. We didn't cook but just had breakfast in the apartment but there appeared to be a good range of utensils and equipment for those who would want to cook. There was a folder with some restaurant recommendations. A supermarket and other shops were a few minutes walk away. The area was quiet, though at night time there was a little noise across the canal from a line of restaurants. Sometimes footsteps could be heard from the apartment above but this wasn't a big issue for us. We really enjoyed our stay in Ca Bianca and would recommend it.
