8bed/6bath house (including annex) in Cannara, Umbria WhenJuly 2, 2011, 7 days LocationThe location was just outside the town of Cannara and just a short drive away from Assisi, Perugia and Cortona. Nearby AmenitiesIt was just a 10 minute walk into town where there was a grocery store and restaurants. The House/ApartmentThe villa was in great shape, with nice furnishing and decorated with many local ceramics. It comfortably accommodated 17 of us. GardenIt has a beautiful pool and garden area and is situated in the middle of farmland. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasThe furniture was in very good shape and more than enough seating for everyone. Bedrooms/BathroomsThe bathrooms were a good size, clean and updated. There are two toilet rooms off the living room which made it easier for those rooms that shared a bathroom. KitchenThe kitchen is equipped with commercial grade appliances, two refrigerators and plenty of glasses, cups, pots, pans, utensils, etc. There is also a pizza oven just outside the kitchen. Problems or BonusesThere were definitely no bad surprises. The villa, location and weather were as good or better than we expected. Agency and Representatives (and price)The two local people we dealt with most were both wonderful. Not only was their English great, but they were full of good information about the area and enjoyable to deal with. Originally saw the property through the SlowTrav Listing. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?We all highly recommend this property and would definitely look to stay here again. Things to do in this areaWe had a dinner catered one night and had a pizza night where we learned to make authentic Italian pizza.
