Review 5137: Angeli's House, Penthouse B

Review by T and K from Ontario

1bed/1bath apartment in Trastevere, Rome

September 18 to 25 2011, One week

We thoroughly enjoyed this apartment as our home base for our vacation in Rome. It was very centrally located; we were able to walk everywhere. The neighbourhood is colourful and lively, and felt very safe. There were numerous interesting restaurants nearby, and a grocery store in the vicinity.

The apartment is clean, the kitchen is convenient, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom has up-to-date fixtures and a beautifully tiled shower. The best feature was the rooftop terrace with its outstanding views of the Roman skyline. It was a great place to start the day off with breakfast and coffee in the soft Roman morning sunshine, and very relaxing to head up to the terrace and lounge after a busy day of sightseeing. We did not find the several flights of stairs up to the apartment to be any problem, but it might be a difficulty for some.

I highly recommend this apartment for an enjoyable vacation.
