Location

The apartment is located in the historic center of Alghero, on the top floor of an old that has been updated with modern amenities.

Nearby Amenities

The apartment is minutes away from coffee bars, stores, and restaurants. A great restaurant, Trattoria Cavour, is on the same street, a block away from the apartment. The Alghero market is a five-minute walk.

The House/Apartment

The building is in very good shape as is the apartment. There are several other apartments in the building, but it looks like they are all lived in.

Garden

No outside seating area, but there are plenty of bars with outdoor seating steps away.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The furniture was in great shape and comfortable. The apartment is very clean.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The loft bedroom has a very low ceiling (you cannot stand up), but the bed is comfortable and the sky-light lets plenty of light in and can be open for fresh aid. The bathroom is comfortable and includes a washer.

Kitchen

The kitchen is modern and fully-equipped for cooking meals, including a dish-washer.

Problems or Bonuses

The low ceiling in the bedroom takes getting used to, but it wasn't a major issue for us.

The apartment is fully equipped and very clean!

Agency and Representatives (and price)

The owner, Christina, is extremely nice and generous. She speaks perfect English and goes out of her way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. When we arrived, we could not take our car into the ZTL, so she came to parking lot where we had parked (just outside the city center) and picked us up. She had prepared a lot of useful information about the city and the surroundings for us and she was always available to answer questions. Perfect hostess!

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I would stay in this apartment any time (and hope to be back in three months).

Things to do in this area

We enjoyed strolling around Alghero, watching the sun set over the Mediterranean. We enjoyed the outdoor cafes and the market. We also loved Trattoria Cavour in the historic center!
