2bed/2bath apartment in Dorsoduro, Venice WhenJune 2011, 5 nights LocationCa Leonessa is located in Dorsoduro on the canal that runs along Campo San Barnaba. It is on the first floor with windows looking out over the canal and, until recently, the famous vegetable boat (which may give a clue to its location for those familiar with Venice.) It's just a couple minutes walk to the Ca' Rezzonico vaporetto stop. It is very close to Campo Margherita. It is in a very good location. Nearby AmenitiesEasy walk to restaurants, Billa grocery, coffee, pastries, etc. There a several restaurants just a few minutes walk away. The House/ApartmentThe apartment is in excellent condition. It has been recently remodeled with very classy fixtures, high quality appliances, kitchen equipment, etc. There is a washing machine and dishwasher. Showers are outstanding and beds very comfortable. It has WiFi, a music system and a Wii. If you click on the website, it has a very good an accurate description of the property. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasFurniture is excellent, comfortable and in good condition. There is plenty of furniture for everyone, including guests, to be comfortable. KitchenThe kitchen is fully equipped with high end pots and pans, dishes, etc. Problems or BonusesThe owner is delightful to work with, very accommodating and willing to please. He lives in England and so all is done via the Internet. We had reason to contact him for a very minor problem which was addressed immediately.
