apartments on an estate outside Montepulciano, Tuscany South WhenMarch 2012 ReviewWe arrived for our stay on a windy but beautiful day in March. Laura's mom brought us cappuccinos after we got our luggage inside our room - grazie! We stayed in the apartment that has two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a kitchen/living room/TV area. We had 1.5 year old twins with us and it could not have worked better. There is a playground for the kids and the pool for summer (I'm sure it's fantastic with the Italian heat in the summer). We took full advantage of Laura and her mother's cooking at night. Multiple course meal with wine -- nice way to end each day. They even made bowls of pasta for our boys so we could put them to bed early. They also serve yummy jams and olive oil at breakfast which was included. The location is ideal for making your way around Tuscany and the surrounding wine country. On the road in between two towns - we found pottery, olive oil, and wine. They went out of their way to make sure our family was taken care of. A memorable trip for sure! This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
