2bed/1bath house in Positano, Campania When4/3/03 - 4/10/03, 1 week LocationThe house was in the center of Positano, very private location. It was peaceful and quiet. The town is beautiful. Nearby AmenitiesThere were plenty of restaurants nearby and a small store to fill up on wine, buffalo mozzarella and fresh tomatoes. All were within walking distance. The House/ApartmentThe house was in very good shape. It was very tastefully decorated, roomy and comfortable. GardenNo garden, but a great deck with comfortable deck chairs and a table for outside eating. No pool. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasFurniture was in very good shape. The house was crystal clean upon our arrival. Had a nice selection of antiques and modern furniture. Bedrooms/BathroomsThe queen bed was very comfortable, the linens were nice and soft. The bathroom was nice, the towels did not have great drying capabilities but they may have been brand new. The water pressure was not great, but it was hot. KitchenKitchen was perfect. There were plenty of pots and pans (all in very good condition, they looked brand new and they were of excellent quality). It was a great place to prepare meals. Problems or BonusesI was surprised at how big the place actually was. It looked smaller on the website. The towels could have been better, but not a big deal. I was surprised also by the amount and quality of the kitchen supplies and how clean the place was. The owners own a store that is very close to the property and we bought a lot of wine, cheese and tomatoes and limoncello from them. They were extremely helpful with restaurants and other advice. Agency and Representatives (and price)The agency was excellent. Their English was perfect. The whole reservation process was quick and painless. The published info. that was sent to me was very accurate in describing what we should expect. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?Yes, I would definitely stay here again, and hope to next year. I loved the location and the deck and the overall comfort of this home. Things to do in this areaFavorite restaurants : La Cambusa, da Bruno, O'Capurale Why take the bus to Montepartuso when you can walk up thousands of stairs? It was a great hike.
