Vacation rentals in Italy (villas, farms, estates, agriturismo, apartments)
Review 5371: Residence San Giusto, Apartment
1bed/1bath apartment in Trieste, Friuli-Venezia-Giulia
June 2012, 1 night
Location is outside of the centro storico but still in a nice, urban, active part of the city. There are buses available if the 20-30 minute walk into town is too much.
I counted at least six coffee bars in the one block! There's a decent grocery store within a two-minute walk as well as a bunch of restaurants.
The building is in good shape. The apartments are very modern and clean. Beds are very comfortable. There is a real elevator and about four floors -- maybe more, each with three or four apartments.
No outside area.
Furniture seemed new and in good shape. Four chairs around the dining room/kitchen table.
All good as far as the comfort and the bathroom was nice.
Problems or Bonuses
Big project repairing the sewers? Or something just below. The whole street was torn up. Jack hammers began at 8am.
Agency and Representatives (and price)
The residence is connected to and managed by the Best Western Hotel just across the street. They were very nice and quite friendly and helpful. Parking is in the hotel private lot.
The web site looks totally accurate.
Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?
I would stay there again after the construction crews are finished.
