2bed/2bath apartment near Pantheon, Rome WhenOctober 2012, 5 nights LocationThe location of Casa Alice is great, about one block from the Pantheon. Nearby AmenitiesA grocery store is about two blocks away. Many, many restaurants less than 1/2 block from the apartment. The House/ApartmentCasa Alice is in an older building, with several (maybe 6-8?) other apartments. It's on the fourth floor European (fifth American!) which can be a bit of a hike after a long day of sightseeing! It is very roomy, with two good sized bedrooms and two complete baths. GardenNo outside sitting area or garden. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasThe furniture was in good shape, the apartment was very clean and tidy. There is a large dining room table, a couple of "easy chairs" and a comfy futon. The apartment was well lit. The heating worked great, as did the WiFi. Bedrooms/BathroomsThe beds were very comfortable, the linens was fine. The two bathrooms were great, although the shower in the double bedroom is quite small! KitchenThe kitchen was just fine, and we cooked several meals during our stay. It is a very small kitchen, so cooking for a large crowd might be a bit of a challenge. Problems or BonusesCertainly no bad surprises - I was pleasantly surprise at the roominess of the apartment. I was very pleased that the WiFi worked great - a good, fast connection! Agency and Representatives (and price)This is the third time we've rented from Cross-Polinate, and we would rent from then again. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them; they are great to work with. Communication is always quick, informative and friendly. The gentleman that checked us in was polite, friendly and helpful and right on time!
