Review 5567: Summer in Italy, Casa Pierpaola
2beds/2bath apartment in Praiano, Campania
May 2013, 10 days
Beautiful apartment in Praiano, Amalfi Coast. Beautiful view. Two balconies.
Great little grocery store right downstairs. A bigger one about 12 minute walk, with great wine cellar!
A few restaurants nearby.
Great apartment overlooking the ocean and the coast. Very clean two bedroom two baths. Good kitchen, spacious and private. Owner Yvan, is a neighbor. Extremely available, helpful and super great guy.
You can view the property directly: Casa Pierpaola.
Two terraces. One adjacent to bedrooms and living room, other upstairs large and private. Both with ocean views.
Good furniture. Super clean apartment. Big table with chairs galore. Actually two tables. One in kitchen and the other in dining room. There is even a small table outside on the balcony to enjoy your morning coffee.
Two large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Two large bathrooms, one with washer. Very clean.
We enjoyed cooking our suppers at the apartment. Full equipped kitchen. The gas stove was a bit of a pain to start but we got around it. There was a bit of a hot water shortage sometimes but Yvan took care of it.
Problems or Bonuses
Our host Yvan is an amazing man. Very helpful. Praiano is a good place to stay if you are planning to travel the Amalfi coast. Not much to see and do in this small town. There is a bus stop at 100 meters from the apartment so you can travel all over. I enjoyed driving but it's not for everyone! There are a lot of steep stairs and roads so anyone with a walking problem should be aware. Great walking trail in Praiano. Fantastic vistas!
Agency and Representatives (and price)
Summer in Italy was amazing. There is an on site person ready to chat as soon as you're on. I was very impressed with them. I have used others in the past and this one beats them all. Friendly, knowledgeable people extremely helpful.
Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?
I loved the place. I would go back to the Amalfi coast but I would try a different town.
Things to do in this area
Sightseeing. Photography. Hiking. Eating. Lemons. Local wines.
