7bed/11bath house in Schiazzano, Campania

When

October 5 - 12, 2013, 1 Week

Location

Fantastic, great views close to everything but you also get a feel for the quaint village life. Very little noise and the bedroom windows could remain open all night.

Nearby Amenities

Two restaurants within 25 meters and two great little grocery/convenience stores within 25 meters of the front door.

The House/Apartment

Historical house with frescoes still present in the entry to the villa. You can view the property directly: Villa Relax.

Garden

Fantastic patios.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Overall beds were great and the villa very clean.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

All were great but the one of the uppermost floor is only a fold out couch. I did not need this room so it was no issue. If I had 7 couples this would have been an issue. The room did have an en suite washroom along with all the bedrooms.

Kitchen

Excellent. We also had catering crews in to prepare several dinners.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

I would happily recommend the full services of Book Sorrento Villas (BSV) to anyone wishing to book a stay in Sorrento or the Amalfi Coast area. I just hosted a 50th birthday for a week in Sorrento in early October and have been planning this event for some time using both the villa broker and the Special Events team consisting of Gianni and Lucio. From the start Daniela (on the villa brokerage side) was extremely professional, efficient and very responsive to all correspondence. All information was accurate and the description provided in all conversations was found to be exact. Everything promised was delivered and professionally so. (I hosted 7 people in a seven bedroom, 11 bathrooms Villa).

The real compliments should go to the two event planners I engaged for the week to look after all our activities (Gianni and Lucio). These are two of the hardest working guys I met on this trip and their sole purpose was to ensure that everything booked and planned went off without a hitch. Each of the seven days was scheduled with activities from cruising around the Amalfi Coast, road trip to Amalfi, Positano, tour of Ravello, visiting markets, farms and cheese processing houses with a chef and then taking over a restaurant kitchen to cook what we purchased, excursions to Pompeii with guide, guided walking tour of Sorrento and a private boat trip for the day visit to Capri. They arranged for the groceries to be delivered to the villa, a stop at a wine cellar that only sells wines and liquor to restaurant and hotels in the area (to stock the villa), fresh flower shop to have flowers delivered to the villa, bringing fresh pastries to the villa each morning by 7am for breakfast and several fully catered meals at the villa prepared by Lucio and his mother who are both outstanding chefs along with Gianni.

Had I booked these activities separately I could have spent a lot of time worrying and being on the phone confirming events, but with Gianni and Lucio they looked after all the details and I was able to relax and enjoy both the bountiful area of Italy and the villa with my guests. We also had changing weather and the events teams were able to change daily activities based on the weather and sea conditions. Again if these activities were booked separately we would have been in a real mess and sailing on seas that were gale force 4.

This was a truly amazing experience from working with Daniela in booking the villa, planning the events with Gianni and Lucio to the actual experience of being there and having such a fantastic time. If you get only two pieces of information from this, they should be BSV is a professional operation and the events team should be part of any stay when booking villas through BSV.

I am happy to be a reference to anyone wishing to engage the services of BSV and the events team.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Very much so. And especially the events team of Gianni and Lucio from BSV.

Things to do in this area

Book all leisure activities with the leisure team from BSV.
