This was the perfect place for Alice and me. Three trams stops away from the center city. Close to everything, yet away from the crowds. Peaceful outdoor garden. It is a hidden gem. Everyone wants to be right in the center of things. We enjoy being with the locals. This was so easy to get to the center, only a 10 minute ride on the tram. There are only two steps, no stair, on main level. It is what we call a town house. Up stairs is not a rental. Safe, locked entry hall.

Nearby Amenities

Several ristotante, a store just around the corner, tabacco shops. It is more of a local area.

The House/Apartment

Very nice living room/kitchen. French doors lead to the private patio and garden. Long clean bath room, very nice w/shower. The apartment was just as pictures showed. So peaceful and relaxing. After long days of sight seeing and train rides to other cities, it was wonderful to come back to the garden. This is not a huge apartment. But perfect to two or three. It does have a new sleeper sofa, a bunk bed with a pull out under it. You could sleep five.

When you arrive at train station, get tram ticket, and go out side door to tram. With back to rains, it will be to your right. Go down steps, and tram is right there. Go three stops, get off. Walk to intersection, cross turn right go one block. It is easy once you know where to go. We ran back and forth a lot. There are stores and everything you need after a long day of sight seeing. Peaceful and relaxing. We took a train to Lucca and to Pisa, and got home very late, but felt safe at all times

You can view the property directly: Villa Apartment.

As I stated, the patio and gardens were private and very very nice. Two sets of French doors leading to patio.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Everything was new. Very modern. Bright cheerful colors. Great TV and WiFi.

The beds were comfortable, like most Italian beds. One bath, but that was great for just the two of us.

There is a great kitchen. Everything you need to cook in. We usually only did breakfast but were surprised at everything Monica had in the kitchen. It was all new. Very pretty apartment.

Microwave, Oven, Coffee-maker, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Refrigerator, Freezer, Gas/Electric stove, Hairdryer, A/C,Reserved parking space provided, Garden patio. We loved this.

Problems or Bonuses

It was perfect. The two of us could not have had a better place to stay. So close to the tram for seeing the sights. Wonderful to come home to after a long day of sightseeing. Perfect for cooking and relaxing, even stargazing from the terrace. We ate in several local place just steps way. Store was just around the corner. We will be sure to stay there next time we are in Florence. Monica was wonderful. She is great to do business with. She always got right back to me when ever I emailed her before trip. Everything was perfect! Best for two or three people. Price was awesome.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

We have never used this Agency. But after asking a few questions, we dealt with Monica, the owner. As I said, Monica was wonderful. She speaks very good English, she is a teacher in Florence. Her father greeted us at the apartment and made sure we knew everything we need to know about the apartment and the area.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

We are already planning to return. I cannot say enough good things about this cute apartment or Monica. If you are a solo traveler or a couple, or two or three good friends, this is perfect.

Things to do in this area

The little store around the corner was also a bakery. We stopped there a lot. We did go to two restaurants one street over, found by exploring the area. But I lost the cards with the names on them. Monica will be able to tell you where they are. We ate in Florence at Canto De'Nelli's a lot. But we did enjoy the two place that we ate at one street over.
