La Rosaccia, presented by Vacanza Bella, is hands-down the best house we have rented in Italy. We were there in Spring '01 with a complement of 7 people which didn't tax the house in the slightest. The gardens are gorgeous, the people who work there are delightful and communicate despite not speaking your language, the house is beautifully decorated and abundantly equipped, and the location is private with a lovely view across a valley.

Daniel Morneau of Vacanza Bella is a delight to work with. The rental cost is high but reflected in the value received, and shared among 4 couples is not really costly. Its only drawback is that it is about 15-20 minutes' drive from the nearest small supermarket, so you have to do a little planning. The only house in view is another owned by the same family, apparently equally appealing; it was in restoration when we were there, but is now available for rental.

If you stay at La Rosaccia, you will be forever spoiled for other rentals. Take good care of it! If we ever decide to travel with a group that size again, we'll be back there.
