Review

Villa San Crispolto is close to paradise on earth. Situated on a hill overlooking Lake Trasimeno, it offers breathtaking views of the lake from both sides of the villa. Thus, you can see both sunrises and sunsets.

The villa lends itself to rental by those who want a large house with the advantages of roominess and privacy, since the villa itself is really three separate units.

We stayed there with both family and friends and everyone, hated to leave. The large well-appointed kitchen lends itself to both group cooking and eating. The grounds are lovely and well kept, as is the swimming pool area.

The villa is located within easy driving distance of Florence, Siena, Perugia, and Rome and all the charming small towns of Umbria and Tuscany. Trains are easily accessible in the nearby town of Passignano sul Lago.

Marco and Maria Rita are the delightful and gracious owners of Villa San Crispolto. They can help you arrange almost anything from a wedding to a barbecue. The outside dining area has a beautiful view of the lake and can accommodate a medium sized dinner party.

We definitely intend to return to this lovely spot.
