5bed/3bath villa near Frascati, Lazio

Location

This beautiful, well kept villa was in a quiet town, breathtaking views of grape vinyards and olive groves, rolling hills, wonderful landscape. Very private, not near any buildings. The area was very peaceful. The house is large, comfortable, with many conveniences.

Nearby Amenities

You need a car to drive beyond the property. The next town has grocery shopping, very convenient, pleasant and friendly townspeople.

The House/Apartment

The house is historical, and in excellent condition. The owners have kept up with everything. The bathrooms were modern and although the furnishings are not new, they were completely clean and comfortable, many wonderful antiques and lighting fixtures. Marble throughout hallways, simply beautiful.

Garden

There are many outdoor settings which are comfortable. Storybook settings completely surrounded with beautiful greenery and flowers.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The furniture is in good shape and very comfortable. We were 8 people, we never felt crowded, we all had plenty of privacy.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Bathrooms are modern and clean. Bedrooms are quaint, and comfortable.

Kitchen

Kitchen is old-fashioned, which added to the charm. We only stayed in for breakfast. There are so many home town places to eat, there was no need to cook in-house.

Problems or Bonuses

We were there during a heat wave, the house is not air-conditioned, but all the bedrooms have fans. It cools down at night, but the days can get hot.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

We rented the house from the owner. Clo was so friendly and helped us plan our days. She recommended a variety of city and country touring. It was a great mix, we were never bored, and we didn't waste time on unimportant adventures.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I would recommend this villa to anyone who is looking for peace, quiet, beauty, 30 minutes from city and very convenient to countryside touring. A real mix of staying in the country with terrific access to Rome. You can even take the train from town.

Vist the town of Frascati, Tivoli Gardens, Castelgondolfo, the city of Rome and so much more.

My family's trip to Casale Sonnino exceeded all of our expectations. Breathtaking views, comfortable indoor and outdoor settings, the home is well-kept and the staff was delightful. Clo, the owner, assisted with sightseeing recommendations and restaurants which made our visit much more interesting with no wasted time. I would return in a heartbeat!
