Review

Al Poggiolo is very near the center of Montepulciano, a very short walk to shopping, restaurants and historical sights -- yet in a very quiet location with excellent views over the countryside. There are 4 very similar apartments with each having 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and a large kitchen, dining, sitting area. There is a large garden and private, enclosed parking. All appliances are included. The apartments are new in a very old, large house--half of the house is the 4 apartments and the owners live in the other half. The owners are the Bracci sisters who are members of a very prominent family who are mentioned often in Iris Ortigo's book on La Foce. They are delightful people and very friendly and accomodating hosts. Meeting them was a highlight of our trip.
