Location

The villa is located on a private olive orchard overlooking a beautiful lake. The view is wonderful. It is located in a small town with an amazing amount of charm. The villa was in perfect condition and the gardens were well kept.

Nearby Amenities

Shopping and restaurants were within a mile from the villa.

The House/Apartment

The building is very old, but was completely refurbished with great attention to detail. The owner restored it with the old look, but with modern conveniences. There was room to sleep 22 people, I believe there may have been 3 or 4 apartments total.

Garden

There was plenty of outside sitting area (pool, patio, and picnic area with tables). The out side sitting areas were shared with other guests in the villa.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The furiture was in great shape and comfortable. The house was furnished with time appropriate funiture that was beautiful and functional. There were two couches in the living room. The kitchen table sat 22 people. The apartment was spotless.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The beds were very comfortable. They were double sheeted with soft linen sheets. The apartment has two full baths with shower, toilet, and dressing area.

Kitchen

Amazing! Plenty of cookware, dishes, and utensils. There were two stoves (9 burners and 2 ovens), dishwasher and refrigerator with freezer.

Problems or Bonuses

Many wonderful surprises including several hand paintings throughout the villa by the owners wife. The entire experience was truly a wonderful surprise! It's the only place that I have ever stayed in that truly lived up to what was advertised.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again. I have already recommended this villa to several friends.
