apartment, sleeps up to 8, near Santa Croce, Florence

Location

Located in a very old but beautifully maintaind building just yards from Santa Croce. An IDEAL location.

Nearby Amenities

EVERYTHING was very nearby. Right downstairs from the apartment were grocers, bakers,restaurants and some of the best Gelatto Italy has to offer.

The House/Apartment

The building was typically VERY old but in VERY good repair. The building itself was kept very clean and the other tennants were completely quiet.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The apartment comfortably accommodated my family of 5 - with 4 of us being adults. Two sleeping lofts held very comfortable beds, and the entire apartment was spotless, well appointed and very well maintained.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Both bathrooms appeared to be brand new, and like everything else in the apartment were spotless.

Kitchen

While we never prepared dinner the kitchen was certainly large enough. The dishes and flatware provided wer of a good quality.

Problems or Bonuses

The convenience of this location as far as the stores right up the block was better than I had imagined and a pleasant surprise. The overall appearance of the apartment was beyond what I had expected.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Meagan Barr and Margeaux were completely accomodating and friendly. I had no trouble communicating with them as they both spoke suitable English. Margeaux was completely punctual to meet us and to check us out of the apartment which was critical for us to make a train.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I whole heartedly recommend both, the apartment and the agency. Not only would I stay there again there is no question in my mind I WILL be staying there again.

Things to do in this area

The small grocers and bakers were so friendly and helpful. Most spoke some english. I found buying simple meats and cheeses along with bread and the like foe breakfast and lunch really added to our experience.
