This is one of the most beautifully restored villas in Italy. The owner is a descendant of Dante Alighieri. The Count and his family live in a separate residence on the grounds. It is an enormous property - reached through a restricted entry gate.

The vacation rentals are apartments - 1 or two bedrooms. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom (a 2 bedroom apt. has 2 bathrooms). In addition: living room, dining area, full kitchen (w/dishwasher). No elevator, but a staff that carries luggage up. Breakfast is extra, served in breakfast room.

The estate is 10 minutes outside Verona by car. You would have to have a car to stay there. There is a nice little restaurant within walking distance, but a car is a necessity.
