3bed/2bath house in San Quirico, near Pienza, Tuscany South When2003, 2002, 2001, 1 week LocationBella Casa is located in the quintessential Tuscan town of San Quirico d'Orso. The apartmento is conveniently and centrally located and pleasingly placed in the small medieval town.One can quickly walk to the village center, or walk beyond the village walls into the vast countryside. The gardens are extraordinary, and the home is beautiful. The residents of the small town are friendly and helpful. San Quirico is a wonderful town! Nearby AmenitiesBella Casa is located in the center of the town. It is very quiet and peaceful. In fact, it is hard to believe that one is actually in the CENTER of town. All one needs to do is to exit the apartmento, turn left and there before you will be small shops, tasteful boutiques and any groceries or supplies you might need. The House/ApartmentBella Casa is indeed beautiful. The owners have renovated and updated, in a tasteful and respectful way, all systems. You will not be disturbed by anyone and you will find every ammenity you might need at your fingertips. This is a special place and one where you will feel safe and comfortable. GardenAlthough there is no pool, you will be very comfortable in the very large garden which is shaded by very special grape arbors and beautiful, lush plantings. In our experience, having an outdoor living space in Italy is a luxury, but Bella Casa is an exception. You will love the garden! Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasMarco and Georgia have spent months and months choosing comfortable and functional furnishings and lighting. You will feel pampered in their home. Good reading light, and comfortable furnishings are available in all sitting areas and in each bedroom. Bedrooms/BathroomsThere are new mattresses on all the beds. Each bedroom is airy and well ventilated. The bathrooms are modern and function well. The water pressure is good so that a shower always feels invigorating! KitchenMarco and Georgia are gourmet cooks. Their kitchen is incredibly well appointed and outfitted. Even the spices are there for your use! Problems or BonusesAfter three visits to Bella Casa, we feel like we are coming "home". Each time we arrive, though, Marco and Georgia have added and enhanced the experience. You must visit Bella Casa! You will not be disappointed. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?Absolutely! We have even brought out best friends there! Things to do in this areaThere is so much to do in this area of Tuscany. The best advice is to look through the notebooks that Georgia keeps in the Bella Casa. They are chock full of ideas and reviews of places and restaurants and markets. We've found outrageous artwork, beautiful pottery, and wonderful foods and cheese to bring home. We've loved the hot baths and the local pools. The hikes are unbelievable and the drives memorable. Just spending time at Bella Casa i spretty special, too. We can't wait to return!
