It was raining all the way from St. Moritz to the hotel. Had a very nice tea and cake (24 euros for 2) after checked in. The room was clean and new. It was a nonsmoking room and I couldn't understand why there were smoke coming thru the door. Later I found there were a door with stairway going down to the back of the hotel restaurant. It was the employees smoking there. If I stayed more than one night, I would ask to change room. There were nothing to see in town. I think if weather was good, there would be nice walks. Dinners for two were included in the rate (200 euros per night, with breakfast and dinner). There was a big table celebrating birthday (maybe 10 people). The dinner was unbelievable - a buffet with salad, mushroom, prosciutto, oyster, lobster ... And a table with dessert, fruit and cheese. They offered soup and main dish (fish/meat), too. The breakfast was also very good. The employees and the owners were very nice. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
