Not a hotel - it's a B&B slap in the middle of Antwerp near the cathedral with ginormous rooms. Very comfortable and excellent value.

When I arrived at this B&B the door was answered by a woman who clearly had very limited English. She murmured something about 'solamente español' and we were home and dry. It transpired that she was Cuban and working there short term. The proprietor soon arrived back and his English is impeccable.

I've forgotten the price - not dirt cheap but fantastic value for money. Its situation is perfect and where someone in my income bracket wouldn't dream of even looking for a hotel. My room was massive and had facilities for cooking, had I wished. Beds and shower excellent; smashing continental breakfast.

Of course I would go again - how could I hope to do better?
