Lovely position by marina - ask for sea view! {5 stars}

Smaller than many on the beach side ‘strip’ the Carlton has undergone a partial refurbishment, with an attractive new lobby area. The big advantage of the north end of the beach is that the hotel does not overlook the busy beach road, although I would suggest asking for a sea view rather than one facing the city. The executive lounge is well serviced, with pleasant staff and nice food, although the room can be very noisy if more than 1/3 full. Attended Swimming pool and sun terrace on the roof.
