A bland business/tour group hotel next to the David Intercontinental, the Dan Panorama is in a good location for visiting Old Jaffa and the Neve Tzedek districts. It is opposite the Sir Charles Close Park, an open space which is used for cycling, running and skating. A short walk over the road and past the sadly dilapidated abandoned "dolphinarium" to a nice, quiet part of the beach. Plus points: the Executive lounge on the 18th floor, for those staying on 17 and 18, is very good, with good day-long buffet and excellent service. Negative points: The hotel looks tired and the executive rooms aren’t particularly large or special. The balconies have a nice sea view, but the road outside is constantly noisy (can’t hear it when the door/window is shut).
