A fabulous Ljubljana location and an historic hotel with very nice rooms. {4 stars}

We chose this hotel because we wanted a secure parking spot for our car, which we didn't plan to move for three nights. They also had a fabulous central location in Ljubljana. We made a great choice.

The historic center of Ljubljana is fairly small, and everything is a short walk from there. The hotel is large and historic, with a great facade. We were pleased to see that our room was clean, fairly large, contemporary and had everything we needed. The public rooms on the ground floor were a little disappointing to me - merely functional in the usual big-hotel kind of way, though there were interesting architectural features.

The service was exemplary, and the breakfast buffet offered was great.

We had no trouble finding it (good directions through Booking.com app) but it was a little confusing when pulling up and connecting with someone to help with valet parking. There is a pool and spa area, though we didn't make use of it or see it, so we can't comment on it.

All in all, we felt it was a very good value.
