Alice Springs: Haven Hostel

Haven Hostel is typical of a hostel. Basic clean accommodations; has rooms with private bath.

I ended up there as a tournament was on and all the mid-priced hotels were booked. Prices in Alice are high as accommodations are booked sometimes a year in advance and many stay there to avoid the high cost of staying at Urdu(Ayers Rock).

I was impressed at how super clean the room was, and the security system was excellent. Wifi, make your own toast and pancakes for breakfast and refrigerator if you wanted to get grocery items or were staying several days.

Met several Aussie seniors there who said they only stay at this type of hostel. Price right $35.00 night.
