Sweet boutique hotel centrally located in Old Quebec.

This lovely European style hotel in Old Quebec overlooks the pretty Parc des Gouverners and the St. Lawrence River. Steps away from the Chateau Frontenac, it's location is perfect for shopping, sight seeing and eating in Vieux-Quebec.

The hotel had a very friendly staff who very helpful with restaurant recommendations. We stayed in a pretty corporate room, that for a little more money (than the standard room) was spacious and had a bay window overlooking the park. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and excellent. Free coffee and newspapers were offered, but breakfast was not served.

The Chateau Bellevue has 58 rooms but feels much smaller. Smaller classique rooms are priced between 94 and 239 Canadian dollars depending on the season. The larger corporate rooms range from 104 to 239 Candian dollars. Labor Day weekend in September, we paid 140 Canadian dollars.

We thought the location, charm and comfort of this hotel was worth the price. We would happily stay here again. Winter carnival anyone?
