Beautiful lobby, not-so-good breakfast, great location, helpful staff, good and certainly clean rooms. {4 star}

We paid €144/night for a triple room including breakfast. The room was large with two single beds together and a murphy queen-sized bed. The hotel lobby was impressive and the staff was very friendly and will negotiate in the off season. Hotel sits on the Singel canal. The breakfast is not worth the money (we had it included). Within walking distance of the Anne Frank House, many restaurants, the central train station, the Red Light District, canal tours, etc.

This was a wonderful hotel in a great neighborhood with the amenities of a four star but the character of a small family inn.

You know when you get to a hotel and your first thought is, “How the heck did we get this lucky?”? Well, it was that kind of experience.

This four star hotel is a lovely historic family run inn right on one of the more charming canals, the room was immaculate, the bathroom immense (by European standards...it even had a tub and double sink) and obviously recently redone, the staff extremely accommodating, and the neighborhood a great mix of antique and bookshops and funky little boutiques right around Spui Square. Almost all the major attractions were within walking distance, and the main tram lines have stops about two blocks away. I can’t say enough about this hotel.

Unfortunately, I don't have rate information because we booked as part of a weekend package which included hotel with flights. I believe the rates are published on their website.
