Charming, very comfortable hotel with an excellent restaurant in quaint Rothenberg

Our wonderful experience in the well preserved medieval town of Rothenberg ob der Tauber was even more wonderful due to our experience at this hotel.

Our room was cozy, but with a lot of character, and updated with modern conveniences. The bathroom and shower were tiny but adequate.

We were greeted warmly by the English-speaking front of house employee even though she was in the midst of serving dinner. She came outside and guided me to a parking spot, attached a parking permit, and even carried luggage up a flight of stairs to the room. The hotel has internet access for guests.

The hotel restaurant was excellent, and extremely comfortable. It was so tasty, and the atmosphere so nice, that we ate dinner on both nights we stayed. The included breakfast was also well done, and included eggs cooked to order, plus all the usual breakfast buffet items of cheeses, meats, breads and cereals.

With a nightly rate of E100, it was outstanding and I would highly recommend it and the town of Rothenberg.
