We have been there three times and are planning a return.

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s a “B” class hotel. The rooms are clean and tidy. The food is generally ok, depending on your taste. We are well travelled.

Don't even go there!

This place is a disgrace. Only fit for demolition. Ruined a special anniversary. Dirty squalid rooms, awful food, dangerous swimming pool. Took us three days to escape.

We are in our fifties and are pretty easy going but no way were we staying there. Other hotels on the main street were all fine. We made sure of that before booking into another one, which lived up to its four star rating.

We found out the Solemar is advertised as three star in the 2004 brochure - please don't believe this.
