Wonderful small hotel away from center in Munich, well located for Octoberfest.

After reading all the rave reviews online I thought no hotel could live up to that but they did. This hotel is located a 15-20 minute walk from main train station in Munich. Lovely neighborhood.

My room on the top floor was spotless, great water pressure and also a delicious breakfast spread. The staff were extremely helpful about how to get around, where to eat, etc. The hotel is located 1 or 2 blocks from Octoberfest grounds. I stayed for 2 nights in September right before Octoberfest, so was able to see the whole thing set up (without all the crazy crowds).

I would highly recommend this hotel for people who don't need to be in the center (which is a 20 minute pleasant walk).
